Sustainability
We recognise that sustainability is a responsibility that shapes the way we operate, innovate, and contribute to society.
We are committed to producing high quality products, whilst sourcing responsibly, reducing the impact of our operations and providing sustainable packaging.
Bottles and Containers
Our plastic bottle & containers are recyclable in Australia and New-Zealand in the household recycling bins, you can check with your Local Council if you are not sure if they will be accepted in your recycling bin.
Our bottle and jars are made in Australia of PET (Polyethylene terephthalate) with an amber tint to protect our product from the natural lights and preserve their efficacy through their shelf life.
We use a plastic seal on our bottle and containers to preserve our products so they are in the perfect condition when they reach you. Unfortunately, the seal is not recyclable, so please dispose of it in your normal waste kitchen bin.
Our bottle caps are made in Australia, they are not recyclable yet, but we are already looking to find a recyclable solution. We are always working with our suppliers to provide you with the most sustainable packaging, making sure we reduce waste as much as we can.
The desiccant sachet inside the products are here to make sure the humidity is maintain at the right level so the product is still in great state for you to consume. You can dispose of it in the general household bin.
Our jar’s caps are recyclable and can be disposed of in your recycling bin at home.
Our labels contain 30% certified post-industrial recycled material, we are working toward using more recycled content in all our packaging where possible.
Packaging
We make sure to use as less single use plastic as possible and we have chosen paper void fill solution. We try to use as little as possible but we still need some in our mailer boxes to protect our products and make sure they arrive in perfect condition to you. You can re-use the honey comb paper, recycle it with your paper.
Our mailer boxes are also made of 100% recycled paper, reuse them as many time as you want, and make sure to drop them in the recycling bin when you’ve finished with it!
